We Can Help With
Our Guiding Principles
In 2017, after 26 years as a single agent, Kim Barton joined Keller Williams Legacy and founded Kim Barton Group to with her loving husband and CFO, Jerry, at her side. Together they created the mission, vision, & values that are a deep foundational part of the whole team & how we operate.
We believe in seeing the whole person in every situation, this, combined with our decades of experience, allows us to serve an array of clients' individual needs in an exceptional way.
In April of 2021 we started spreading the word, and officially launched our partnership & commitment to Charity:Water. Kim started donating a portion of her proceeds from every sale & our community stepped up to the plate joining us in the fight for clean water. We have raised over $40,000 that has gone directly to funding water projects.
With many crisis' in our world we believe that water is where we should start & that by focusing our efforts we can have the greatest impact.
Providing clean & safe water gives people back their health, allows girls to stay in school & women to join the workforce, which all together fights poverty. Every $1 invested in improved water access and sanitation yields $4-12 in economic returns.
Along this journey our community as repeatedly blown us away. One such instance is our second water project, Meghan's well. Meghan spent her high school years fighting a particularly painful bone cancer undergoing surgery & chemo. Despite all she endured Meghan's biggest wish was to dig a well. She was granted a wish by the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Immediately Meghan knew she wanted to build a well. What 16 year old wants to give her wish, $5,000, to charity? Meghan's family talked into taking a vacation, then, COVID. 'Can I dig a well now?' Meghan donated her wish, and our community helped us more than double it. Now Meghan's well is complete in Burkina Faso.
